PCS Management Team
  1. Phil Walker
    Managing Director
    Phil became managing director at PCS in 2008 and has built up more than 25 years of experience in the publishing industry. His focus is on driving the team to develop and deliver publishing solutions for the industry now and in the future.
  2. Iain Smith
    Sales Director
    Iain joined PCS in 2014 to grow PCS revenues in new sectors and geographies. He has a background in SaaS technologies across international markets.
  3. Gareth Williams
    Operations Director
    Gareth oversees core operations at PCS, ensuring high levels of customer service and ongoing development of innovative solutions. He joined the team in 2015 from a leading international integrated support services business.
  4. Keith Hemmings
    Development Manager
    Keith leads a UK based team of skilled, in-house software developers and has extensive knowledge of the publishing industry. He oversees all PCS software development and has been with the company for 13 years.
  5. Simon Weare
    Client Services Manager
    Simon manages all client services teams, leading on implementation projects to on-going support and maintenance. He joined the team in 2000 and has a background in technical services.
  6. Alan Ramsay
    Technical Manager
    Alan has been with PCS since 1998 and is responsible for ensuring an optimum technical infrastructure is in place for both PCS and its customers. He manages the data centres, providing publishers with hosted PCS technology, enabling them to benefit from SaaS solutions.
  7. Hannah Amiss
    Marketing Manager
    Hannah drives the communication and brand development for PCS. She joined in 2016 from a background in manufacturing and engineering solutions.


Rich, one of our editorial product specialists, works as part of a highly skilled team that focuses on the implementation and on-going support for our editorial solution Knowledge. During his five years at PCS, Rich has been heavily involved with a number of significant Knowledge installations, including the Racing Post and the Oldham Evening Chronicle. He has a great deal of experience in working with publishers to identify exactly how they can improve their publishing processes and what benefits that will ultimately deliver.
