"I see PCS as being a key partner in helping us to produce the same quality product for our 12,000 readers, but with less resource."

Independent Nottinghamshire weekly newspaper, The Newark Advertiser, has extended its relationship with PCS, leading product developers in the publishing market, for a further five years.
Newark will continue to benefit from a hosted portfolio of PCS editorial, production, advertising and property solutions that the team have been using over the last decade.
When Newark implemented solutions from PCS, they were specifically looking for one service provider that understood their workflow from start to finish. The ability to have all solutions hosted also delivered significant peace of mind over hardware maintenance, disaster recovery and OS patching, as well as giving staff more time to spend out of the office.
Managing Director Steve Wilson and his team actively use ABS and Pulse, PropertyNet and Knowledge Publish on a daily basis to ensure a smooth publishing workflow. They are particularly impressed with the fact that, despite Newark being a small publisher, the PCS support team always work hard to make sure the software accommodates their workflow, not the other way around.
Steve comments, “Like many publishers, we’ve seen a reduction in staffing levels over the last ten years. I see PCS as being a key partner in helping us to produce the same quality product for our 12,000 readers, but with less resource. By removing the cost of ownership and easing budgeting, the PCS solutions make perfect commercial sense even for the smaller publisher that may well have retained hardware for longer than some larger businesses.”
