PCS, leading product developers for the publishing market, have just completed a project integrating Knowledge Publish with Washington Post’s digital content management system, for use by Midlands News Association.
New websites for leading MNA titles The Shropshire Star and Express & Star are now live, making them the first in the UK to be built and powered by the Washington Post’s own state of the art digital platform, Arc Publishing. Already Shropshire Star is uploading 100+ stories a day directly from Knowledge Publish to its site, significantly higher volumes than ever before.
The PCS team has facilitated integration with Arc Publishing’s DCMS, so content from Knowledge Publish is fed directly into and via a digital text editor. It is also easy to enable digital enhancements to content such as style, hyperlinks, embedding of images, social media and much more directly through Knowledge Publish.
Matt Mansell, Project Manager at PCS comments – “This project has allowed us to push the content management and publishing boundaries of Knowledge Publish. We have created one of our most efficient integrations with a DCMS to date, whilst enhancing the digital capabilities of Knowledge Publish that will benefit all our customers, present and future.”
