Don’t be fooled by the name of our data-driven, automatic production platform ‘Property Net.’ Yes, it’s historically been used for the creation of property advertisement, enabling estate agents to create brand-consistent adverts.
However, this week it has helped Midland News Association’s (MNA) Express and Star newspaper create an eight-page supplement, displaying a whole host of ‘Santa’s little helpers.’
In November, the MNA teamed up with a photographer so parents could bring their children to take part in a festive photoshoot, with their favourite snap being featured in a Santa’s little helpers supplement.
As long-standing users of PropertyNet, the MNA knew it was the best tool for the job. The solution allows them to import all the adorable photos and names to PropertyNet’s database to reduce the manual task of keying in each individual name.
The integration with Adobe InDesign meant they could create the festive templates, ready for the production team to auto-populate the final PDF’s and send to the newspaper. Alongside the ease of using its browser-based, drag and drop functionality, PropertyNet has the added benefit of automating the population of data to save time and manual effort.
