Is your 2020 vision to boost productivity by 20%
Want to know how to increase your sales team’s productivity by up to 20 per cent?
Research has shown that happy workers are more productive than melancholy workmates, with performance increasing by as much as 20 per cent.
A study conducted by the University of Warwick’s Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy and the Social Market Foundation proved there is a link between happiness and productivity.
The experiment involved 700 individuals chosen at random and they were shown a 10-minute comedy clip or provided with snacks and drinks. Researchers followed up with a series of tests to ensure those individuals are happy and then gave them tasks to measure their level of productivity.
The results showed that productivity increased by an average of 12 per cent, and went as high as 20 per cent above the control group. Imagine if your team could perform just ten per cent better than on their ordinary day. Think what could be achieved and how much they could outdo most of your competitors and achieve outstanding results.
Now, team leaders are always on the lookout for ways to boost morale and motivation, and this often leads to biscuits and sweets being brought into the office. However, these are short term solutions that often don’t have much of an influence on the team.
For real solutions that have a lasting impact, our event ‘What Makes a Happy Sales Team?’ should give team leaders the answers they need. Held in London on March 18th our experts will analyse what makes salespeople happy, and how organisations can support this.
Speaking at the event will be Leone Starr, who is director of The Wellness Team which aims to revolutionise the way companies think about their employee’s health. The beginning of the event will see Leone discuss the definition of happiness. She will then explain how to correctly communicate about wellbeing, and how to give health and happiness a boost in the workplace.
This talk will give you unrivalled access to the wealth of knowledge and advice that Leone has accumulated from her years of experience.
Next up will be Gemma Warner, who is a product specialist at PCS, and worked for 12 years in sales roles for a media organisation. Gemma will take a dive into the minds of salespeople and how achieving success, being valued, being kept in the loop and saving time, is crucial to the mental wellbeing of a sales team. Attendees to this event will take-away actionable tips, which they can implement as soon as they get back to the office.
The ‘What Makes a Happy Sales Team?’ event takes place on March 18th from 9am at TOG, Albert House, 256-260 Old St, Shoreditch, London, EC1V 9DD. Come along from 8.30am for a free breakfast and networking prior to the main event.
